Bright and Cheery

I started making this card after I bought a packet of M&M's on special.  I didn't realise they were such a bright orange. Wow what a reason for inspiration.  I really wanted to do a sweet treat cup with them and ended up using retired cardstock for this one.  The colour combo was inspired by a cute wee teddy at the chemist.  I would not have thought to put orange, green and pink together, but here you have it and I really quite liked the outcome.  It is not my usual style, so what do you think?  I know when my good friend Lynda received it in the post for her Birthday card, she liked it, she even ate some of the lollies.  It suits her cheery and bright personality.  I had to make her a bright coloured card.

My wee embosslits 'Beautiful Wings' are getting well used.  I just love how easy they are to use, they emboss and cut out all in the one action.  They are certainly worthy of a little attention.

I used a white gel pen to add the detail on the flowers.  This made them pop a little.

Supplies:-
Stamp Set - Flower Fancy
Cardstock - Naturals Ivory, Only Orange (retired), Green Galore (Retired), & Pixie Pink (Retired)
Embosslits Dies - Beautiful Wings $26.50 & Sizzlits dies - Little Leaves
Detail on flowers made with White uni-ball Signo Gel Pen

Email me if you would like to order the Embosslits die for $26.50 + postage.
